Simon founded Team Ventures Ltd, the European operation of BSG Team Ventures, and leads the Biotechnology & Healthcare practice for BSG Team Ventures worldwide.
Simon trained with Arthur Andersen in the UK, focussing on MBO and related special work and established the research and real estate finance functions for Savills plc (now FPD Savills). He has founded 3 companies and is currently involved in establishment of a further Spinout company assisting university tech transfer offices with efficient commercialisation of Intellectual Property.

He is an investor in early stage technology companies in his own right, a member of angel group Cambridge Capital Ltd.
Interests include country sports, wine, impressionist art plus a new love of polo - BSG Team Ventures are sponsors of international polo through Ascot Park Polo Club - and almost any music except traditional Country & Western.
